 THE PATHOBIOLOGY AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY OF TUMORS Conference took place in Cluj-Napoca, 28th-30th of April 2010, and it was organized by the Oncology Institute “Prof. Dr. Ion Chiricuță” Cluj Napoca, under the auspices of  OECI, The IAP Romanian Division, and The Romanian Society of Pathological Anatomy.

This project served as a pilot for the phased implementation of national population-based cervical cancer screening programs. The project started with a regional pilot in Cluj County (2002-2005) that was then rolled-out to 5 more Transylvania counties (2006-2008).

The 46th ESNM Seminar of Nuclear Medicine will take place between 30th of September - 2nd of October 2010. The event will be organized under the auspices of the European Society of Nuclear Medicine.

The Oncology Institute „Prof. Dr. Ion Chiricuţă” Cluj-Napoca is proud to celebrate its 80th anniversary, dedicated entirely to the fight against cancer.
